Zakopane is Poland's mountain resort in the Tatra foothills, and for most of our guests the draw is the town itself rather than any slope. The Krupówki promenade hums with highland cafes and craft stalls, the Gubałówka funicular lifts you to a sweeping ridge-top panorama, and the dark timber villas of the Zakopane style, echoed in the nearby village of Chochołów, make the architecture an attraction in its own right.

The resort lies about 110 km south of Kraków, usually a two-hour drive along the Zakopianka road, and we run it as a fixed-price, direct transfer. Book the ride from Kraków when you are already in the city, or come from Kraków Airport straight off your flight, and a chauffeur takes you door to door in a premium Mercedes-Benz without the changes a bus or train would demand.

Beyond the town centre the area invites unhurried days out: the Chochołowskie and Bukovina thermal baths for warm mineral pools, the Kasprowy Wierch cable car for a ride high into the Tatras, and gentle valley walks within easy reach. In winter the same roads carry skiers and snowboarders, and equipment simply travels in the boot if you are heading for the pistes, but that is only one season's version of a place worth visiting all year. Whatever the month, our English-speaking chauffeurs handle the mountain traffic while you take in Giewont on the skyline, leaving the drive as the easy part of the trip.
