    The trip

A long day in one private car

This is a private, chauffeur-driven round trip between Warsaw and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial, completed in a single day. A Mercedes-Benz with an English-speaking driver collects you at your address anywhere in Warsaw, covers the roughly 330 km to Oświęcim, stays on site while you visit, and brings you back the same evening. The day follows your own schedule instead of a group's, and the return leg is already included.

The drive takes 3.5 to 4 hours each way. With a visit of around 3.5 hours, the full day runs roughly 11 to 13 hours door to door. You choose the departure time, stop when you need to, and rest on the road in both directions. Coach tours run on a fixed group timetable. This transfer runs on yours.

The Memorial admits visitors at reserved times. You book your timed entry pass through the official Auschwitz Memorial channel; an educator-led visit is a separate arrangement made directly with the Memorial, not something we provide. Because your entry time is fixed, we set the Warsaw departure early enough to arrive with a clear margin. Flag either one when you book and we can help.

The price is fixed per vehicle for the entire day. The "from" rate on this page reflects live pricing for the Warsaw pickup zone, and you see the exact amount for your vehicle before you confirm. Warsaw Chopin Airport sits inside the same zone, so a pickup straight from arrivals costs the same fixed rate as any city address.

    Questions travellers ask

How long is the day, door to door?

Plan for roughly 11 to 13 hours: 3.5 to 4 hours of driving each way, about 3.5 hours inside the Memorial, and a margin around your entry time. Most of the day passes on the road. We would rather you know that before booking than discover it on the way.

Can you pick us up at Warsaw Chopin Airport?

Yes. Chopin Airport lies inside the same Warsaw pickup zone as any city address, so an airport pickup costs the same fixed per-vehicle rate. Given the length of the day, pairing it with a same-day arrival suits a morning flight best.

Are entry passes or a guide included?

No. This booking covers private transport only. You reserve timed entry passes through the official Auschwitz Memorial channel, and an educator-led visit is arranged separately, directly with the Memorial. Flag either one at booking and we'll help, or send your travel dates to contact.

Will the driver wait while we are inside?

Yes, for the entire visit. The car stays on site until you are ready. The drive back is already arranged, and you decide when it begins.

    Starting from Kraków instead?

For many visitors, yes, that is the easier plan. The Kraków-based version is a much shorter day. If your itinerary already includes Kraków, consider the day trip that starts there, or take the Warsaw to Kraków ride first and do the short version once you arrive. This page is for travelers who stay based in Warsaw and want to reach the Memorial in one day.

Do you charge per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle, agreed in advance. One fare covers the whole car for the entire day, and you see the exact figure for your chosen vehicle before confirming.

Which addresses can you pick up from?

Anywhere the booking form lists inside the Warsaw pickup zone: a private residence, a hotel, or straight from Chopin Airport arrivals. Every time on this page is quoted from Warsaw, so a start in another city would change the length of the day.

Can we book the transport one way only?

A dedicated one-way Warsaw–Auschwitz ride is not something we currently list, so there is no page to book it from. Contact us with your route and dates and we will quote it individually.
